Young children can learn to count, recognize colors and letters, and start eating at an early age. Classes will begin with a game, such as guessing the colors and names of the ingredients, the first letter of the ingredient, or counting the items and spoonful’s used in the recipe. One adult per child assisting in the kitchen under instructor’s Virtual supervision and guidance.
Classes may vary between 45 minutes to hour hour.
Menu class # 1: 8/6/20 crispy cinnamon bread cookies
Menu class # 2 8/13/20 mini crustless quiches (vegetarian or with ham)
Menu class # 3 8/20 Apple turnovers

- 4 sandwich bread slices
- 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp sugar

Cute cookie cutter not too big they need to fit inside the bread, small are better

Menu 8/13/20 class # 2 mini quiches (vegetarian or with ham) – yield 6
- Grated or shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese or whatever cheese you have
- 4-6 ham or turkey slices shredded
- Or if vegetarian : cherry tomatoes + fresh basil
- 1 /2 Tbsp olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 5 eggs
- 1 Tbsp milk or water

- 1/2 cup apple sauce 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Pepperidge Farm puff pastry sheet, thawed ( available in frozen section with pies , pie crust and pastries
- Egg wash ( whole egg + water)
- 1-2 Tbsp sugar granulated
- Flour
