Virtual cooking class for kids – Riverside CSD – 3 classes serie

During this new cooking series, young chefs learn virtually how to make delicious food by themselves in the comfort of their own kitchen. For safety reasons, help from an adult is required. All levels are welcome. Menu, ingredients and equipment listed below. Virtual classroom log-in information located on receipt
Menu of 9/28/20
Turkey meatballs in garlicky sub sandwich
Serving 10
- 1 package ground Turkey
- ½ bunch of fresh parsley or any herbs chopped ( very thinly)
- 2 pressed garlic cloves
- Breadcrumb or panko or bread shredded
- 1 can Tomato sauce
- Optional garlic and onion powder
- 1 egg
- Salt & pepper
- Olive oil
- flour
Material: bowls different sizes, baking dish,garlic press, knife, cutting board
Garlic sub bread
For 8- 10 buns
- 6 Tbsp melted butter
- 2-3 clove of garlic pressed
- Salt
- Buns/ bread rolls
Material : baking sheet, pastry brush or paper towel

NO ingredients substitution. Our fun new menu includes (menu subject to change without notice): Mini lasagna cup, Provence mini quiche, Thai turkey meatballs, pinwheel pizza, and meatloaf cupcake from Germany.
