FRANCE (South West) : Saint Jean de Port
Rue d’ Espagne
This year I am spending my Summer in the Southwest of France, between Bordeaux and Spain in the Landes – Basque Country where my parents and in-laws live. This is my country, my region, my passion and my love. This trip has been very emotional since this is the second time my kids are visiting their “other” homeland. The last time we were there they were only 8 months old.
Few Americans know about Basque Country or Landes in France most people know Paris, Provence or Loire Valley. I am writing this post for those who want to discover something unique and different when visiting France.
This year, my summer will be dedicated to my loving family; relaxing, reading, walking, meditating and of course tasting and eating a lot. I will try to stay away from my computer, cooking, and Iphone.
Follow me …….and take a look at my beautiful country!
