SUMMER CAMPS 2019…some Pictures …. more
From June 3rd to August 8th 2019, Celine’s Cuisine and her team conducted 40+ baking and cooking camps for kids, made/ create 200+ dishes, met 400+ young chefs, and had a lot of fun ( and some stress too…).
Even If I started giving cooking classes with cities 11-12 years ago ( Murrieta was the first city I taught a class- Thank you Murrieta community Services), I started conducting camps for kids only 7 years ago.
First it was small camps of 5 kids, then 10, then 15…. and now I teach 20 kids per camps in some cities.
Behind each camp, there is a theme, behind each theme there are recipes, behind each recipes, there are fresh and pantry ingredients to get and buy, a lot of cleaning, sorting, organization and logistic. Behind each camp there is a kitchen and each kitchen provides a different stove and burner that you need to adjust during the cooking/ baking process. Every kitchen and setting is different. So all my camps are unique and different from another one.
During each camp I encounter amazing little chefs, the ones who know a lot about baking and cooking. They know so much and they are so passionate. But sometimes I have kids who never cracked a egg in their life, who know nothing about measuring cups or spoons and some kids who even does not want to be in this camp…
Overall I know each kid brings home some new recipes, new skill, they tried new food, they tasted new ingredients, some kids even decided to taste and like a vegetable they never liked before during their young life.
This is my job : educate, teach, and make kids at ease in front of a recipe, ingredients and cooking equipment.
Did your child(ren) joined any of my camps this summer? If so please feel free to leave a comment/ review.
Now Celine’s Cuisine has 2 instructors :Sonia and Adrienne that conduct classes and camps when Imam not avaialble. This summer some kids and parents were lucky to have them as cooking/ baking instructors in Murrieta and Temecula. I received a lot of compliments and great reviews about the camps they taught this summer! What an achievement. I could not ask for better persons to teach and continue my camps or classes when I am not available in one city.
They are trustworthy, professional, organized,
I want to thank also my volunteers in Murrieta Ryan and Alex and in Temecula the team I have with me for 3 years now : Paolo, Isabelle, and Emily. They are best: hard workers, wonderful with the kids, helpful, fun and amazing human being .
